In addition to providing college scholarships, the foundation also offers training to those who need help completing their academic studies or who seek career training.
Fashion & Design Training
Local interest in fashion and design for men and women is high. For this reason, the foundation began training some students on sewing and weaving. Industrial machines, both electric and manual, have been provided for this. Training in men’s fashion, Reason Chidi Foundation and embroidery will also be added in the future.
Join the community to give education for the childrens and together make them educated for their lives.
Students:
Some students will each be trained for one year. Upon completion, they will receive a brand new sewing machine and a certificate to support their careers.
Schedule:
Program will begin in January of each year and will train students for one year.
Computer Training
One of the newest programs to be added at the center is the computer training program. This program’s goal is to improve computer literacy in the community and among youth. To that end, the modern classroom has been equipped with five new HP personal computers, as well as a 3-in-1 printer/scanner/fax machine.
