To bring this concept to life, the Reason Chidi Foundation supports higher education in Nigeria by offering college scholarships to students each year.
A respected Energy and Real Estate Mogul, based Oversea , Reason Chidi grew up in Nigeria and has close ties to the communities in which the foundation works. He created the foundation to foster change and positive growth in these areas after seeing the growing number of students with fewer opportunities to reach college or get vocational training.

Foundation Focus
For some students in South East Nigeria, education is cut short for reasons ranging from financial constraints and lack of positive role models to poor societal guidance and gang activities. The Reason Chidi Foundation aims to take a pivotal role in countering this trend and offering opportunities for higher education. It will pursue this goal while fostering an environment where hard work, dedication, and perseverance in the pursuit of education are rewarded.
Besides the scholarship program, the foundation is also offering vocational training. This is meant for those who might not be eligible for the scholarship or who have limited opportunities for career training.
In July 2022, the foundation granted university scholarships to 28 persons in Abia state and its environs.
Sponsors: The foundation is a private and non-governmental organization. All activities have been funded by its founder, Reason Chidi, and other companies who have supported them in one way or another.
Founder Goal
The goal is to provide ample opportunities for education and youth empowerment, with emphasis on young boys and girls who have limited access to higher learning.
